Hello my name is Sha'kira "Punkin" Johnson and I'm owner of Sweet Punkins Pies Llc where we make handcrafted treats and homemade baked goods. I started my baking journey in 2017 with the idea of making cupcakes for a impromptu bake sale. Keep in mind I never sold a baked good at that point along with the fact that I never had a bake sale in my life. Out of 96 cupcakes I literally sold 12, but that didn't stop my drive to want to continue to bake. 2018 I made my first custom cake and needless to say it wasn't the greatest visually, but the flavor of the cake was all the way there. In 2019 I started to see growth in both my talent and my business so I decided to make it official and I obtained my business license. Fast forward to 2021 and now I'm being hired and trusted to create cakes and treats for what most would consider to be "special and important events" such as birthday parties, family gatherings, and most importantly... wedding day!
